Exploring New Business and Cultural Opportunities in the South
The Southern region of the US has the highest concentration of single-race black Americans, comprising 59% of the population. This presents a unique opportunity for industries and sectors that are looking to grow. Additionally, 90% of all historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) are located in ten Southern states. This inspired our Presidential Cohort Program, which serves the presidents of smaller HBCUs throughout the South. We are excited to mobilize economic and growth opportunities with New Orleans as the hub.
"We are each other's harvest; we are each other's business; we are each other's magnitude and bond."
